We had a great time at this year’s Xerocon. There was a fantastic array of innovations from Xero, inspirational talks from keynote speakers and a great party too!
Without giving too much away, here’s what we learned at Xerocon:
This looks very exciting and it will revolutionalise compliance and the way we accountants work. Xero Tax will make our business processes more efficient which will in turn give us more time to spend with clients. Here at Progress Accountants, we don’t shoe-horn clients into one size fits all. This means we like to spend time getting to know our clients. It’s fair to say that we will welcome these new efficiencies brought by Xero Tax with open arms.
This partnership is a match made in heaven. It will help provide a seamless experience by offering a convenient all-in-one software solution.
Xerocon is a community so it’s not a surprise that subjects such as believing in yourself and overcoming personal challenges were part of the conference. Keynote speakers such as Brad Burton and Craig Hudson delivered engaging talks on this subject. They contributed greatly to the message of self-belief and overcoming personal challenges. Bravo to Craig Hudson for sharing his emotional personal story. Overall, we learned the importance of embedding well being into everything we do.
Moreover, listening to the product announcements from Anna Curzon and hearing what Steve Vamos had to say on the steps Xero are taking in the market filled us with excitement at what the future holds. Matt Lucas and Shaheen Budhrami also offered lots on this subject during their panel talk. We found this to be very insightful and thought-provoking.
As you can see, we found Xerocon to be a very exciting and informative conference and learned a great deal that we can’t wait to implement. Not only did we learn a lot, we had fun as well.
