Gareth Burton FCA
Founder & CEO
Having built an award-winning pension audit and assurance practice, Gareth launched Progress Accountants in 2017.
With over 25 years of experience as an accountant and over a decade as a business owner, Gareth understands the pain business owners experience when setting up and growing their businesses.
From this experience, Gareth is keen to help clients avoid the pain points he faced by supporting them with an efficient and dynamic, tech-led firm that provides clients with detailed record-keeping, daily bookkeeping and forward-looking financial information and insight.
Gareth enjoys watching football, travelling, spending time with family and friends, and walking his dog around the Oxfordshire countryside.
Lee Rogers FMAAT
Lead Accountant
Lee has worked in accounting for over a decade. He is excited to lead Progress Accountants, as it is a forward-thinking accountancy firm that uses the latest technology to ensure clients receive the best service possible.
Lee takes pride in the high level of service the firm provides and enjoys working with business owners to help them grow.
Outside work, Lee enjoys taking his children swimming, keeping fit through regular running and keeping up to date with the latest technology.
Henry Simons MAAT
Manager
Henry joined Progress Accountants in October 2024, bringing nearly a decade of accounting experience to strengthen the team.
Inspired by the firm’s impact on business growth, he is eager to contribute to its mission.
Outside of work, Henry is an underground music DJ and hosts a radio show on Sigil Radio. He’s also involved in promoting club nights around Birmingham, where his passion extends to supporting his favorite football team, Birmingham City FC, also known as ‘The Blues”.
Jackie Bosch
Assistant Accountant
Jackie is an Assistant Accountant, working alongside Lee in supporting the broad range of clients at Progress Accountants.
With over thirty years of experience, Jackie brings an immense depth of knowledge and a committed professional approach to her work. This is shown in Jackie’s fantastic attention to detail, strong work ethic, and client-first outlook.
When she is not working, Jackie loves spending time with her family, rambling around the Oxfordshire countryside on long walks, and either enjoying her current travel adventure or planning her next one.
Joy Holloway
Business Administrator
Joy is the Business Administrator for Progress Accountants and our sister company, Assure UK.
Within this, Joy supports the accounting and bookkeeping teams across various tasks that help the firm provide great customer service to Progress Accountants clients.
Outside work, Joy is devoted to spending time with her family and her four-legged hairy best friend, Fred, a Yorkie-King Charles crossbreed.
Joy’s other passions include Italian food and watching Patrick Swayze’s hips in Dirty Dancing.
Manny Abayomi
Digital Marketing Executive
Manny is the Digital Marketing Executive at Progress Accountants. A role he also has for Assure UK.
In this role, Manny focuses on social media, this website, email marketing, and all the supporting elements of our marketing communications, such as branding and content production.
Manny enjoys the creative side of marketing. He loves coming up with new post ideas and is a talented videographer.
In his own time, Manny enjoys going to the gym and playing football for his local team, where he plays as a defender.
