SME businesses have started getting support to delay payment of their VAT and PAYE liabilities since HMRC set up a phone helpline to support them in regards to concerns about not being able to pay taxes due to the Coronavirus.
The helpline enables any business or self-employed individual concerned about paying their taxes due to Coronavirus to get useful help & advice.
If you run a business or are self-employed and you are concerned about paying your tax due to Coronavirus, you can call HMRC’s helpline for help and advice: 0800 024 1222.
If you’re unable to pay due to Coronavirus, HMRC will discuss your specific circumstances to explore:
Once again, the helpline number is 0800 024 1222. The helpline is open from Monday to Friday 8 am to 8 pm, and Saturday 8 am to 4 pm (excluding bank holidays).
